Welcome to the Golf Club of New England

Welcome to The Golf Club of New England. We are delighted to have you as our guest and hope you enjoy your time with us. The Club is proud of its long-standing reputation as a premier golf club, built on tradition and a continued commitment to excellence for the enjoyment of our members, their families, and guests. We kindly request that all guests adhere to our standards of conduct and attire during their visit.

Upon arrival, please proceed to the bag drop area in the main parking lot. The golf staff will assist you with your bags and direct you to the clubhouse or practice facility.

To maintain the high standards and traditions of our club and ensure a respectful and enjoyable environment for all members and guests, please adhere to our dress code by wearing acceptable golf attire for golfing and golf attire or business casual for dining or socializing

Women’s Dress Code - Golf specific attire, including collared or appropriate golf shirts (sleeveless or with sleeves) tucked in unless tailored to be worn out. Golf skirts and skorts (no shorter than 6” above the knee) slacks, or Bermuda-length shorts. Leggings are unacceptable unless worn under a skirt or golf dress.

Not Appropriate Attire: Denim, tank tops, t-shirts, halter tops, yoga pants, cargo shorts are not permitted.  Gym or fitness wear is only permitted in the fitness room.

Men and Women are asked to refrain from wearing hats/caps in the Grill Room and Clubhouse.  Hats/caps are to be worn in the manner for which they were intended, i.e., golf visors and baseball-style hats/caps with the brim facing forward.

Junior golfers are expected to wear attire consistent with adults and appropriate for golf.

The Club has established a pace of play policy of 4 hours 15 minutes or less for a foursome. It is expected that all players will play "hit when ready" golf to maintain the pace guidelines. It is a group's responsibility to keep up with the group in front of them.  Guests should play tees that are appropriate for their handicaps.  Guests who do not have a single digit handicap are not permitted to play from the Black Tees.
The practice area and putting green are integral parts of our facility. Guests are expected to exercise proper etiquette and care while using the practice areas. Members and guests are reminded that it is an appreciated courtesy to clear the greens of balls after practicing chips and bunker shots. Golfers are also encouraged to follow posted guidelines regarding divot patterns on the range tee and in the short-game practice area.
You may make and receive discreet voice calls in the common spaces.  Silent use of mobile devices is permissible, so long as the device is no larger than an iPad and does not offend another member.  Laptop computers may only be used in reserved private rooms.
Alcoholic beverages will be served safely and responsibly while protecting the membership, guests, the club’s reputation, and our employees. Alcohol may not be brought onto the property at any time.  Alcoholic beverages will not be served, sold, or consumed at the club in any manner not permitted by law.
Smoking is prohibited inside the Clubhouse area and the outdoor dining area.  Smoking is permissible on the back patio as long as it does not offend those members in the outdoor dining area.
